The Anambra State government and the Abatete community are working together to address insecurity in the area. This collaboration comes after a recent attack by sit-at-home enforcers, which resulted in the death of three security personnel and left the community’s President General critically injured.
To combat insecurity, the community is planning a security summit to devise strategies to tackle the menace of hoodlums. The state government, led by Commissioner for Information Dr. Law Mefor, has assured residents of its support and commitment to restoring lasting peace and security.
The government has also intensified efforts to prevent future attacks and enhance safety across Anambra State. Suggestions have been made to improve security, including the installation of CCTV cameras.
Additionally, the Anambra State government has been urged to beef up security measures, particularly in markets, to prevent further attacks and ensure the safety of residents.
