Another truck has crashed on the Abuja-Keffi Expressway, just 24 hours after a CNG-laden tanker collapsed near Karu Bridge.
This time, a fertiliser-laden truck collided with a Hijet and a dump truck, but fortunately, no lives were lost. The incident occurred at about 3:54 pm on Thursday afternoon.
The FCT Emergency Management Department confirmed the accident, and the Federal Road Safety Corps is working to tow away the affected vehicles to avoid traffic buildup. Motorists are advised to drive with caution in the area.
This incident comes after a recent truck explosion on the same expressway, which claimed several lives.
The recurring accidents on this route have raised concerns about road safety in the region.
