Borno State Governor, Babagana Umara Zulum, has commended the Nigerian Military for their swift response to the recent devastating floods, stating that their intervention prevented further loss of life.
During a meeting with Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Gwabin Musa, Zulum expressed gratitude for the military’s rescue efforts and sympathy towards the state.
“The military’s support was instrumental in mitigating the disaster’s impact,” Zulum said. “Without their intervention, the situation would have been dire.”
