Communal Clash in Ebonyi State Results in One Death and Multiple Houses Burnt

 

A recent communal clash between the Ndieguzu Agalegu Omege and Ukwuinyima communities in Ebonyi State’s Ikwo Local Government Area has resulted in one death and the burning of over 10 houses. The crisis allegedly started due to a fight in November 2024 surrounding the burial of a woman who was raped and killed.¹
