Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has claimed to be undergoing treatment for mental health issues at the Federal Neuropsychiatric Hospital in Abeokuta.
Portable made this revelation on social media while appealing to Nigerians and the Ogun State Government after being declared wanted by the state police command for allegedly assaulting three officials from the Ogun State Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development.
The singer alleged that he was set up because he was wearing a vest with the face of Senator Adeola Solomon, also known as Yayi. Portable claimed to have a card from the hospital that certifies him as a patient and stated that he is not a thief, but rather helps people around him.
The Ogun State Police Command had earlier declared Portable wanted for leading a gang of nine thugs in a violent attack on the unarmed officials, who were conducting an enforcement exercise in the Oke-Osa area of Ogun State.
