Cult Violence Resurges in Rivers State: 30 Killed in 3 Months

Cultists have regrouped and intensified their attacks in Ahoada East and West local government areas of Rivers State, claiming 30 lives in three months.

 

Renewed Violence

  • The cultists, affiliated with the late David Okpala (2 Baba), have resumed their activities since January.
  •  Over 50 “Civilian-Generals” are leading the group, employing sophisticated weaponry.
  •  The violence is attributed to a cult supremacy clash.
