The Nigeria Customs Service, Adamawa/Taraba Area Command, has intercepted smuggled items valued at N71.7 million between August and September.
Seized Items:
- 33,595 litres of petroleum products (intended for smuggling into Cameroon)
- 3 vehicles used by smugglers
- 200 bags of foreign flour and rice
- 10 bales of second-hand clothing
Customs Comptroller’s Statement:
“We will not relent in this fight against illegal trade until we bring smuggling activities to ground zero in Adamawa and Taraba states,” said Mr. Garba Bashir.
