Davido’s Father, Dr. Adedeji Adeleke, Reveals 15% Stake in Nigeria’s Electricity Generation

 

Billionaire businessman and father of music star Davido, Dr. Adedeji Adeleke, has disclosed that his ventures generate 15% of Nigeria’s electricity.

Adeleke’s Speech at Seventh-Day Adventist Church’s General Conference:

“I’m proud to say that my power plants generate about 15% of Nigeria’s electricity… We’re building a 1,250-megawatt power plant, the largest thermal power plant in Nigeria.”

Overcoming Challenges:

Adeleke shared how a government official initially denied permits, threatening the project. However, divine intervention and persistence led to the then Minister of Power granting approval.
