A shocking discovery was made by the Ebonyi State Police Command, as they arrested a suspect in possession of human skulls and locally made guns.
Ovuta Chigozie, a resident of the Okoffia community in the Ezza South Local Government Area, was taken into custody after police found two human skulls and three locally made guns in his possession.
According to the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Joshua Ukandu, Chigozie confessed that the human skulls were given to him for the preparation of a spiritual concoction. Authorities are now investigating the individual who provided Chigozie with the skulls.
In a separate operation, the police recovered stolen tricycles and arrested four suspects specializing in altering the colors of stolen tricycles from neighboring states. The suspects, Nweke Chukwudi, Nwankwo Obinna, John Abba, and Uche Abba, admitted to receiving the vehicles for color modifications.
All suspects will be charged to court upon completion of investigations.
