FAAN to Shut Down Power at Lagos Airport’s International Terminal 2

 

The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has announced a temporary shutdown of power supply to the International Terminal 2 of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, on Saturday.

Details:

  • Date: Saturday, November 16, 2024
  • Time: 1 am – 4:30 am
  •  Reason: Replacement of the Bus Riser 11KVA high-tension panel
  •  Affected Area: International Terminal 2

FAAN assured that the maintenance shutdown will have minimal disruption to flight operations and passenger facilitation. Royal Air Maroc, which operates during the maintenance hour, will be relocated to International Terminal 1 for check-in and arrival formalities.

  •  Airlines, security agencies, and concessioners will be notified
  •  Continuous passenger movement will be ensured
  •  Safety and security of airport users remain paramount
