Fake Soldiers Nabbed: FCT Police Command Arrests Two Impostors

 

 

The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has arrested two individuals, Emmanuel Linus and Moses Daniel, for allegedly impersonating Nigerian Army officers. The suspects were apprehended on November 30, with Linus wearing a full Nigerian Army camouflage uniform.

 

During interrogation, Linus presented a fake military identification card, which raised suspicions. Further investigation revealed that Linus is allegedly part of a criminal syndicate that defrauds unsuspecting victims using fake bank alerts.

 

The FCT Police Command has commenced a thorough investigation and is working to identify and apprehend other members of the syndicate. The command has also urged citizens to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities.

 

In a related development, the police have impounded 296 vehicles for various violations and have foiled five “One Chance” robbery operations, rescuing three victims.
