Fatal Football Frenzy: Arsenal Fan Kills Manchester United Supporter Over Mo Salah’s Late Equalizer

 

Kyobugombe Trading Centre, Western Uganda – A heated football argument turned deadly on Sunday, October 27, when an Arsenal fan, Onan, allegedly killed a 22-year-old Manchester United supporter, Benjamin Okello, following Liverpool’s 2-2 draw with Arsenal.

 

The Incident

Okello was celebrating Mo Salah’s late equalizer when he threw popcorn at Onan, sparking an argument. The situation escalated into a scuffle after the match, resulting in Onan hitting Okello with a stick.

 

Eyewitness Accounts

Witnesses described the confrontation beginning in a local video hall where fans gathered to watch the match. “When Liverpool scored, the Manchester United fan started jubilating, angering the Arsenal fan,” said Kaharo Sub County Chairperson.

 

Police Investigation

District Police Commander Joseph Bakaleke confirmed the incident and stated that Onan, known for criminal activity, is now the subject of a police manhunt. “We appeal to anyone with information to come forward and aid in the investigation,” Bakaleke said.

 

Family Demands Justice

Relatives of Okello are demanding justice, while police urge calm as they search for the suspect.
