Fatal Road Accident in Ogun State Claims Driver’s Life, Injures Three

 

 

A road accident at Oju-Ore, along Idiroko Road in Ota, Ogun State, has claimed the life of a driver, Bello Lukman, and injured three pedestrians.

 

According to Omolola Odutola, spokesperson for the Ogun State Police Command, the accident occurred around 8:45 pm on Monday.

 

Lukman’s Honda shuttle car, with plate number TTD 537 AE, was parked at the roadside when he attempted to reposition it. He lost control of the steering and hit three pedestrians: Ojo Isaac, Ladan Musa Moses, and Tunde Adio.

 

The pedestrians were taken to the State Hospital in Ota for urgent medical treatment. Unfortunately, Ojo Isaac passed away while receiving treatment.

 

Police Response

The accident scene has been inspected, and a rough sketch map created. Photographs were taken, and the vehicle recovered for VIO inspection. Police investigations are ongoing.

 

This incident highlights the need for caution and attention on the roads to prevent such tragic accidents.
