FG Renames University of Abuja After Yakubu Gowon

 

The Federal Government of Nigeria has renamed the University of Abuja after General Yakubu Gowon, a former military Head of State, in recognition of his contributions to nation-building. The institution will now be known as Yakubu Gowon University, Abuja.
