A devastating fire outbreak occurred at the Old Airport Junction in Jos, Plateau State, destroying several shops and offices.
The fire started around 4:00 pm, prompting frantic calls to the fire services. Thankfully, the Jos Fire Service promptly deployed personnel to contain the blaze, preventing it from spreading further.
This incident follows a similar fire outbreak last month at the Katako Timber Market, where over 107 shops were gutted, leaving more than 200 people devastated and goods worth over ₦1 billion lost.
