Ganduje Condoles with Families of Slain Police Officers, Donates N20m

 

The National Chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, has condoled with the families of five police officers who lost their lives in a tragic accident while returning from an official assignment in Edo State.

 

 

Ganduje, accompanied by Abubakar Kabir Abubakar, House of Representatives Committee Chairman on Appropriation, visited the families in Bichi town, Kano State, to offer his sympathies.

 

 

“The accident was a sad moment not only for the Police Force but for the nation,” Ganduje said. “Five officers died instantly, and 10 others sustained various degrees of injuries.”

 

 

As a gesture of support, Ganduje personally donated N2 million to each of the five families, totaling N10 million, while the 10 injured officers received N1 million each, totaling N10 million.

 

 

Ganduje emphasized the importance of standing with families in their time of grief, a tradition he vowed to continue.

 

 

“We are here to comfort you and make you feel that you are not alone in this sad moment,” he said.
