Imo Police Dismantle Notorious Robbery Syndicate

 

 

The Imo State Police Command has successfully busted a notorious armed robbery syndicate terrorizing Owerri North Local Government Area.

Incident Details:

  • Location: Dominion Street, near Don Kay, Owerri North LGA
  •  Operation: Police response to distress call

Police Action:

Officers from Owerri North Divisional Headquarters exchanged gunfire with robbers, neutralizing one suspect and apprehending another.

Suspects:

1. Neutralized: Identity unknown
2. Apprehended: Moses Nanzi, 31, from Faringada, Plateau State

Recovered Items:

  • Double-barrelled gun
  • Seven rounds of live cartridges

Investigation and Prosecution:

Efforts are underway to track down fleeing gang members. Moses Nanzi will face prosecution after a thorough investigation.
