Rhoda Gumus, INEC National Commissioner for Edo State’s gubernatorial election, has pledged to resist bribery and ensure a free, fair, and credible electoral process.
On Channels TV’s “Politics Today,” Gumus asserted her commitment to integrity, stating:
“I am in charge of Edo, and I will do the right thing… I won’t take bribes, no matter the amount.”
Gumus emphasized her constant monitoring of the electoral process, saying:
“I’m on the platform with EOCs every day, checking for any issues and correcting them.”
