Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf expressed his deep sorrow over Bunkure’s death, describing it as a “tragic and irreplaceable loss” to the state, his family, and the wider political community.

Bunkure passed away on Wednesday in Egypt, according to a statement by the governor’s spokesperson, Sunusi Dawakin Tofa.
