The Kano State Police Command has apprehended three suspects in connection with the gruesome murder of 32-year-old Dahiru Musa in Dorayi quarters, Kano.
Murder Plot Unravels
Aliyu Adamu, 22, Mubarak Abdulsalam, 20, and Sadiq Sunusi, 19, were arrested after Musa’s brother reported him missing, sparking an investigation.
How It Happened
Adamu and Abdulsalam allegedly lured Musa to Adamu’s residence under the guise of discussing a land transaction. They then poisoned and stabbed him to death, wrapping his body in a sack and dumping it in an uncompleted building.
Motive Revealed
The motive behind the murder was to seize Musa’s landed property, as Adamu had gained possession of the land documents.
Attempt to Destroy Evidence
After Adamu’s arrest, Abdulsalam and Sunusi allegedly conspired to burn Musa’s body with petrol to destroy evidence.
Police Action
All three suspects are currently in custody at the Command’s Criminal Investigation Department, Homicide Section, and will face charges upon completion of the investigation.

Commissioner of Police Salman Garba commended the public for their assistance and urged residents to exercise caution when conducting business in unfamiliar areas.
