Kidnappers Kill Two Police Officers in Plateau State

 

Tragedy struck in Plateau State, Nigeria, as two police officers, Fatoyo Femi and Inspector Dafur Dashit, were killed in a confrontation with kidnappers along Little Rayfield Road in Jos. The officers were part of a special team deployed from Abuja to combat kidnapping in the state.

 

Four suspected kidnappers were arrested, and an investigation is ongoing. The Plateau State Police Command has urged residents to remain calm, assuring them that the situation is under control.

 

This incident is not isolated, as there have been other recent cases of kidnappers being apprehended or killed in Nigeria. For instance, the police killed two kidnappers, including a kingpin, in Rivers State. Additionally, two police officers and three kidnappers were killed in a gun battle in Imo State.
