A commercial bus, popularly known as a Molue, crashed into the road median at the Ahmadiya axis of the Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway, leaving eight people injured.

The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) spokesperson, Adebayo Taofiq, stated that the driver lost control of the vehicle while trying to avoid colliding with pedestrians and another bus. The injured victims were taken to Ile-Epo General Hospital for medical attention.
LASTMA General Manager, Olalekan Bakare-Oki, sympathized with the injured and urged motorists to prioritize safety and adhere to traffic regulations.
