A disturbing incident has unfolded at Okota Junior Grammar School in Lagos, where the principal, Kayode Abolarin, and a teacher, Atueyin Martins, have been arrested for allegedly assaulting a 15-year-old student.
The Incident
The student’s mother reported the incident to the Isolo Police Division on March 11, 2025, stating that the principal and teacher had physically assaulted her child, resulting in the loss of three teeth.
Police Response
The Lagos State Police Command promptly arrested the suspects and launched an investigation into the incident. According to the police spokesperson, Benjamin Hundeyin, the suspects are currently cooperating with the police.
Commitment to Justice
The Commissioner of Police, CP Olohundare Jimoh, reassured the public that the command is committed to protecting residents and ensuring swift action against criminal activities. The suspects will be arraigned accordingly upon the conclusion of the investigation.
