Lucky Aiyedatiwa of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has emerged victorious in the Ondo State governorship election, securing 366,781 votes.
His closest rival, Agboola Ajayi of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), trailed behind with 117,845 votes. The APC dominated all 18 local government areas of the state.

The Labour Party (LP) and the Zenith Labour Party (ZLP) garnered 1,162 and 2,692 votes, respectively. This election marks a significant milestone in Ondo State’s political landscape, with Aiyedatiwa set to take the reins as governor.
