Manchester United’s revenue has dropped by £14 million to £143.1 million due to the club’s absence from the Champions League.
The first-quarter results, released on Tuesday, showed a significant decline in broadcasting revenue, which fell by 20.4% to £31.3 million.
The club’s commercial revenue also decreased by 5.6% to £85.3 million, while matchday revenue dropped by 3.3% to £26.5 million.
Despite these declines, Manchester United reported a net profit of £1.4 million for the period, attributed to favourable foreign exchange rates.
The club is predicting total revenue for 2025 to be between £650 million and £670 million.
Manchester United’s chief executive, Omar Berrada, stated that cost and headcount reductions are “on track,” and the renovation of the club’s Carrington training ground is ongoing.
