Mother Arrested for Throwing 10-Month-Old Baby into Delta River

 

A shocking incident has unfolded in Delta State, Nigeria, where a young mother, Blessing Ibuku, has been arrested for allegedly throwing her 10-month-old baby, Prevail Jonathan, into a river.

Key Details:

1. Motivation: Ibuku claimed she was mocked by friends for being unmarried, leading to the tragic act.
2. Investigation: The Delta State Police Command recovered the baby’s lifeless body and confessed to the crime.
3. Arrests and Recoveries: The police command has arrested over 30 suspects for various crimes, including robbery, kidnapping, cultism and murder, and recovered 150 arms, including 32 AK-47 rifles.
