The Nigerian Air Force has dealt a significant blow to terrorism in Niger State, destroying the residence and arms depot of notorious bandit kingpin Mallam Saleh in Palele, Shiroro Local Government Area.
This operation is part of the NAF’s efforts to weaken terrorist strongholds and restore peace to the region.
Key Outcomes of the Operation:
- Neutralization of Terrorists: Numerous terrorists were killed in the air strikes.
- Destruction of Arms Depot: A critical arms depot was obliterated, crippling Saleh’s capabilities.
- Destruction of Kingpin’s Residence: Mallam Saleh’s residence was destroyed, dealing a crushing blow to his operations.
The NAF’s Director of Public Relations and Information, Olusola Akinboyewa, confirmed that the operation was successful in dismantling Mallam Saleh’s reign of terror, which had plagued vulnerable communities in Shiroro with attacks, abductions, and extortion.
