Nigeria Congratulates Ghana on 68th Independence Anniversary

 

Nigeria’s Federal Government has congratulated Ghana on its 68th Independence Anniversary, recognizing Ghana’s progress in strengthening democracy, fostering economic growth, and promoting peace and stability in West Africa.

 

In a statement, Nigeria’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Yusuf Tuggar, commended Ghana for its achievements and reaffirmed Nigeria’s commitment to enhancing cooperation in areas like trade, education, security, and regional integration.

 

Ghana’s independence journey since 1957 has been a source of inspiration to Nigeria and the entire African continent. The two nations have a long-standing friendship and bilateral ties based on shared history, cultural affinity, and a mutual vision for a prosperous and united Africa.
