Nigerian troops have made significant strides in the fight against terrorism, arresting notorious terrorist leader Abubakar Bawa Ibrahim (aka Habu Dogo) and neutralizing 187 others. Additionally, 311 criminal elements were arrested, and 147 kidnapped victims were rescued.

Operations Across Regions:
Troops conducted successful operations across various regions, including:
- North East: Neutralized 103 terrorists, arrested 64 suspects
- North Central: Neutralized 14 violent extremists, arrested 25 persons
- North West: Neutralized 51 terrorists, arrested 55 persons
- South East: Neutralized 15 terrorists, arrested 20 violent extremists
- Niger Delta: Discovered and destroyed 98 illegal refining sites, recovered stolen crude oil and illegally refined AGO.
These efforts demonstrate the Nigerian military’s commitment to combating terrorism and ensuring national security.
