Notorious Kidnapper Caught: Nigerian Army Arrests Suleiman Ahmad

 

 

Troops from the 6 Brigade Nigerian Army have successfully apprehended a notorious kidnapper, Suleiman Ahmad, in Taraba State, Nigeria. Ahmad, a resident of Bomanda village, allegedly extorted over ₦70 million in ransom from his victims in Lau Local Government Area.

He confessed to abducting approximately 20 individuals and owning an AK-47 rifle used in his operations.

Arrest Location: Maraban Abare, Bomanda, and Karamuke villages

Date of Arrest: November 12, 2024

Arresting Unit: 6 Brigade Nigerian Army, Sector 3, Operation Whirl Stroke

Accomplice Arrested: Hussaini, a suspected gunrunner, was apprehended on November 15, 2024.

 

The Nigerian Army has reaffirmed its commitment to dismantling criminal networks and ensuring the safety of law-abiding residents. This operation is part of ongoing efforts to curb kidnapping and violent crimes in the region.
