The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Director-General, Brigadier-General Yusha’u Ahmed, has advised corps members to avoid relocating and instead, find a home wherever they are posted. He emphasized that life doesn’t end in one’s hometown, urging them to adapt to new environments and respect the cultures and traditions of their host communities.
1. Adaptation: Corps members should adapt to new environments and find a sense of belonging wherever they are posted.
2. Respect for Culture: Respect the cultures and traditions of host communities.
3. Security: Take security seriously and abide by instructions.
4. Skills Acquisition: Take advantage of skills acquisition programs to become self-reliant and job creators.
5. Contribution: Contribute to the development of host communities.
Ahmed warned against unauthorized travels, indecent dressing, and other acts that may project the scheme in bad light.
