Obajana transmission substation attacked by armed men

 

 

Armed men attacked the Obajana transmission substation in Kogi State on November 12, 2024, at approximately 11:55 PM, causing damage to a 150MVA 330/132/33kV power transformer.

The assailants opened fire indiscriminately, forcing the guards to flee, and the transformer’s radiator was struck, resulting in significant damage.

The TCN Public Affairs General Manager, Ndidi Mbah, confirmed the incident in a statement issued in Abuja.
