Police Hunt Four Suspects Over 70-Year-Old Woman’s Murder in Bauchi

 

A 70-year-old woman, Talatu Joshua, has been murdered in Bauchi State, prompting a police investigation.

 

According to a statement by the Bauchi State Police Command’s Public Relations Officer, Ahmed Wakil, the victim was attacked and killed by four suspects in Gobir village, Kirfi Local Government Area.

 

The suspects, identified as Rilwanu Mani, Ali Isah, Ila Amo, and Jamilu, allegedly assaulted Talatu with sticks, knives, and cutlasses, causing fatal injuries.

 

The police stated that they received a petition about the incident and have commenced an investigation. However, the suspects are still at large.

 

The Bauchi State Police Commissioner, Auwal Musa Mohammed, has assured that the command is working to apprehend the suspects and bring them to justice.

 

Talatu Joshua was a mother of 10 and a grandmother of 40, who dedicated her life to serving her community in Jinga village, Kirfi LGA.
