President Bola Tinubu has congratulated renowned banker Dr. Lawrence Olusegun Aina on his 70th birthday, praising his contributions to Nigeria’s development. Dr. Aina has had a distinguished career spanning over 30 years, serving as the chief executive of a bank for six years.
Dr. Aina is a pioneer in the Fintech industry, establishing Fintech Associates Limited in 2002. He’s also the former president of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria and founded the Africa Fintech Network. Additionally, he chaired Odu’a Investment Company Limited between 2020 and 2022.
President Tinubu encouraged Dr. Aina to continue contributing to the nation’s development, wishing him good health and God’s abiding grace.
