A confrontation between officials of the Department of State Services (DSS) and legislative workers sparked tension inside the Lagos State House of Assembly chamber on Monday.
Eyewitnesses reported that DSS officials, dressed in black jackets and helmets and armed with weapons, struggled with the workers at the door, leading to pandemonium in the House.
The incident has raised concerns about the safety and security of lawmakers and legislative workers in the assembly.
This development comes amid ongoing tensions between the legislative and executive arms of government in Lagos State.
