Abuja, Nigeria – President Bola Tinubu has made sweeping changes to his cabinet, dismissing six ministers and submitting seven new nominees to the National Assembly for confirmation.
Ministers Relieved of Duties:
1. Prof. Tahir Mamman (Education)
2. Uju Kennedy Ohanenye (Women Affairs)
3. Mohammed Gwarzo (State for Housing)
4. Jamila Ibrahim (Youth Development)
5. Lola Ade-John (Tourism)
6. Betta Edu (Humanitarian Affairs, already suspended)
New Nominees:
1. Bianca Ojukwu (Minister of State for Foreign Affairs)
2. Nentawe Yilwatda (Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty)
3. Five other nominees (names not disclosed)
Additional Changes:
Ten ministers have been reassigned to new portfolios.
