The Nigerian Army has recorded a significant victory against terrorism, neutralizing four terrorists and rescuing 20 kidnapped hostages in separate operations in Niger and Kaduna states.
On Tuesday, troops acting on credible intelligence intercepted terrorists attempting to cross from Alawa Forest in Niger State to Birnin Gwari in Kaduna State. A fierce firefight ensued, resulting in the elimination of two terrorists, while others fled.
The troops recovered two AK-47 rifles, two magazines, and three motorcycles.
In another operation, troops ambushed terrorists at Hayin Nakwakina village in Giwa Local Government Area of Kaduna State, neutralizing two terrorists and restoring normalcy in the village.
Recovered items included two motorcycles, a mobile phone, and machetes.
Additionally, troops responded to a distress call and rescued 20 kidnapped hostages abducted along the Kwaga-Polewire axis of Birnin Gwari Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

The rescued hostages have been reunited with their families.
The Nigerian Army expressed gratitude for the public’s continued support and cooperation in providing credible information to the troops.
This operation is part of the military’s ongoing efforts to curb terrorism, insurgency, and economic sabotage in the country.
