Troops Thwart Tanker Explosion in Port Harcourt

 

Port Harcourt, Nigeria – A potential disaster was averted on Wednesday morning when troops from the 6 Division of the Nigerian Army swiftly responded to a tumbling tanker laden with Petroleum Motor Spirit at Rumuokwuta Roundabout.

 

Emergency Response

Led by Major Almustapha Shawwal Adams, the troops cordoned off the area, conducting preventive drills to prevent a fire outbreak. No lives or property were lost.
