Two Arrested for Alleged Ritual Killing of 8-year-old Boy in Delta

 

The Delta State Police Command has arrested two suspects, Destiny Ogbeh and his master, for allegedly killing an 8-year-old boy, Progress Agidi, for ritual purposes.

Key Points:

1. Accused Lured Victim: Destiny Ogbeh, an apprentice to a native doctor, allegedly lured Progress into the bush to fetch firewood, where he was killed.
2. Ritual Killing: The boy’s throat was slit, and his blood drained, suggesting a ritual killing.
3. Paid N30,000: Ogbeh allegedly received N30,000 to carry out the crime.

4. Police Investigation: The police are investigating and have arrested two suspects, with a third suspect, Dr. Jonah, still at large.
5. Family Seeks Justice: The victim’s father, Ifeanyi Agidi, appeals to the public to ensure the police do not release the suspects on bail.

The case has been transferred to the State CID in Asaba, and the police are working to apprehend the third suspect. The family seeks justice for the brutal murder of their son.
