Two Arrested Over Killing of Aiyedatiwa’s Campaign Director

 

 

The Ondo State Police Command has arrested two men, Mohammed Sheu and Abubakar Umar, in connection with the kidnap and killing of Alaba Abe, a member of the All Progressives Congress and coordinator of the Lucky Aiyedatiwa Campaign Organization in Akoko South-West LG.

 

Here are the key points about the arrest:

– The Arrest: The suspects were arrested by the Special Anti-Kidnapping Unit of the Ondo State Police Command on November 14, 2024.

– The Crime: The suspects confessed to kidnapping and killing Alaba Abe, as well as committing other crimes such as armed robbery in various places.

– The Investigation: The police found a voice note on Sheu’s phone, where he told his friend that he was not financially buoyant and asked him to contact him if there was any kidnapping job available.

– The Suspects’ Confession: The suspects stated that they were responsible for the kidnap at Supare Akoko that led to the death of Alaba Abe Excel in April 2024, and in September, they all kidnapped another person in a popular Hotel in Owo.
