The Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, and Port Harcourt International Airport have been honored by Airport Council International (ACI Africa) for exceptional airport emergency management and resilience.
At the 33rd Annual General Assembly Gala Night in Johannesburg, South Africa, ACI Africa Secretary-General Ali Tounsi and President Emmanuel Chaves presented the airports with plaques.
According to Tunde Moshood, SA Media and Communications to the Honourable Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, this recognition showcases Nigeria’s commitment to secure and efficient travel experiences.
“A testament to the hard work and dedication of everyone involved, particularly Honourable Minister Festus Keyamo,” Moshood said.
